From the car park, turn right onto the towpath (bike museum) and walk to the bridge. Cross the bridge and turn left onto Rue Théo-Bonhomme climbing up onto the plateau. Beneath the high-voltage line, continue straight on along the path and at the edge of the wood, turn right. The path snakes its way through the undergrowth. Cross the bridge over the railway.
Walk down the road to the right, then turn left onto Rue des Prés.
20 metres after the roundabout, turn right and enter the park. Turn left onto the path and cross the picnic area on the Seine River. Continue on towards the bridge. Go down to the quay (on the wall, five sketches by the painter Sisley), then climb back up onto the walkway to cross first the Quai de la Croix-Blanche then Rue Grande. From the Place Eugène-Renoud-Bernard square, walk along the Seine (on the low wall, ceramic works represent popular stopovers for journeying bargees).
Pass by the landing stage and walk to the confluence of the Seine and Loing Rivers. Walk up the Loing along the left-hand walkway. Follow Rue du Passeur on the left, the wide alleyway, Rue de Fleury to the right, and finally turn left onto a path marked with anchors and lined by a fence. Take the third right-hand alleyway, then turn right onto Rue Alfred-Pierrard, left onto Rue de Fleury and finally right onto Promenade de la Bourse.
Enter through the stone gateway and follow the thematic “inland navigation” discovery walk leading to the Loing riverbank. Walk along the river on the left, pass under the viaduct and continue on to the overpass.
Walk under the overpass, climb the stairs to the left, cross the bridge and go down left to reach the west bank of the canal. Follow the towpath to return to the car park.
