Der Sargaillouse-See ist ein kleiner künstlicher See mit einer Fläche von einem halben Hektar im Herzen des Waldes von Coarraze. Er wird durch den Bach Sargaille gespeist und fließt überlaufend in den Lagoin. Eingebettet in eine grüne Oase stellt er ein komplexes Ökosystem dar, in dem Wald und Feuchtgebiete nebeneinander existieren. Es gibt zahlreiche Vogelarten wie Reiher, Silberreiher und Eisvögel sowie viele Amphibien wie Salamander, Molche, Frösche und Kröten. Zu den Fischen in seinen Gewässern gehören Regenbogenforellen, Brassen, Karpfen und Rotaugen. Dieser kleine See, der jedes Jahr mit Fisch besetzt wird, ist ein idealer Ort zum Angeln mit der Familie und für Picknicks.

This route begins at Coarraze sportsground. Go to the left looking towards the park and the sportsground. Turn left of the bus stop and take the path Chemin Debat Castayre, then walk for 500m ( 1640ft.). Turn left on the path Chemin de l’Escude and continue for about 3km ( 1.86mi.). Pass by the Hourcade farm that has an amazing tower. Turn right on the path Chemin de Sargaillouse.
Before the water tower go down to the left on a dirt road. Continue straight ahead leaving several paths to the left and to the right and, in the descent, take the right-hand path. After crossing a pass in the forest, go up in front staying on the ridge. Then go down for about 600m (approx. 1968.5ft.) by a steep path. Once down the path, turn left on the Sargaillouse track.
At Sargaillouse lake, continue straight ahead on the track. After 400m (1312.34ft.) take the track to the left to go back to the start.
