Description
En longeant la vallée de la Wemperbaach en direction de Oberwampach, on passe par le lieu dit « Kässel » situé sur une butte dominant la vallée et offrant, par temps dégagée, une vue panoramique sur 180 degrés. Les romains avaient érigé un castel à cet endroit stratégique. Aujourd’hui, quelques tumuli témoignent encore de la présence des anciens occupants du « Kässel ».
