Description
Le château de Maillebois est un magnifique château Renaissance, construit en briques et recouvert d'une toiture en ardoise.
Détruit pendant la guerre de Cent ans, il fut reconstruit par Jeanne d'O vers 1460, puis restauré par son descendant, François d'O, au XVIème siècle. Ce dernier occupa notamment plusieurs charges honorifiques: il fut notamment gouverneur de Caen, gouverneur de Paris, et surintendant des Finances.
