Le Monument aux Morts

This monument is from the Reims sculptor Paul Lefebvre (1867-1958) and the architect Edmond Herbé (1865-1960). It was placed in the axis of the church and the city hall, facing the East, symbol of rebirth. It has been reinterpreted by the contemporary sculptor Patrice Alexandre as part of his work on memory sculptures and has been exhibited at the Royal Museum of the Army in Brussels.
