Accessible directly via the waterways, Charleville-Mézières has a marina and a mooring station to welcome tourists enjoying the delights of sailing. With facilities to accommodate 88 boats, the marina lies at the heart of the Mont Olympe tourist centre, just a stone’s throw from the city centre. It is equipped to receive boats of over 12 metres. Monthermé has two ferry docks for boaters and boats promenade, overlooking the site of the rock at seven o'clock, near the St. Leger (monument) church. This new marina, opened in 2013, offers boaters from April to October, 174m quay drive, part pleasure and professional game. This stopover point offers a capacity of 25 boats, 9 electrical sockets and water, 16 RV sites, as well as captaincy with all services (showers, WC PMR, washing machine, dryer) Dock areas were treated with green spaces, a captaincy, a playground and street furniture. The river mooring station is a recent development at the heart of the city in an outstanding green setting. This village is situated on the small river Massembre which forms the border between France and Belgium. Mandatory step, due to the presence of a customs office, Heer became a village of sailors. The drop is the Left Bank, between 66 and 116 combined. There are several restaurants, snack bars and station refueling.
The docking is located opposite the abbey, on the left bank, between 4670 and 4715 cumulative. No services on place but in the city you will find several shops, banks, pharmacies and a post office.
The captaincy of Waulsort's halt is in the barge L'Hirondelle - right bank downstream of the dam, between cumulative 9.317et 9800. Port opened from May to September is occupied by members of the Yacht Club of the Haute Meuse but there is still availability for passing boats. Services are limited on the right side but the site is beautiful and you are connected to the village of Waulsort by a smuggler, the last on the Meuse. Visiting boats are welcome in the port of Moniat managed by the Yacht Club Anseremme or on the quay Van Geert, a little further downstream. You will find small restaurants to the yacht club and the tennis club next door. There are many mooring stations all along the right bank, but please, avoid the landings reserved for passenger vessels. You'd better prefer: - Nautical relay: Right Bank, between 18,200 and 18,351 cumulative - The water spot: Right Bank, between 18,053 and 18,110 cumulative. On the other hand, downstream from the bridge, you will see a pontoon with water and electricity. Just behind the pontoon you will find the the captaincy with showers and laundry facilities.
Downwards Poilvache Fortress, you can stop a moment below the lock and enjoy the scenery offered.
Godinne developed in a meander of the Meuse, obn the right bank of the river. The mooring station on the left bank, 31.725 cumulative will permit you to discover the place. A church, a priory and one imposig farm surrounded by an enclosure flanked with a corner tower, the castle, built in the 16th century with bricks and limestones. As ornithological reserves, they are an ideal life place for many species of birds sometines rare such as the crested grebe or the kingfisher. Some other species take refuge there for the winter period. Maybe you will have the opportunity to observe some of them.
By accosting at Pronfondeville you will discover a village which has turn the river to an inseparable companion. We especially appreciate the secret charm of its straight and rectilinear alleys. Passing between its lovely old houses, you will discover the soul of the village. Left bank between cumulative 35,293 and 35,979 and cumulative 36,110 and 36,148.
Anchor at Wépion will permit you to taste, from may to august, the famous Wépion strawberries, known for their delicate flavour. A mooring is possible on the left bank, shore of 'Grand Ry', cumulatives 39.500.

The marina Henri Hallet (PK45,600, right bank)is located upstream the bridge, oppositethe downtown. It can recieve boats under 15m long. The boats over 15m must stay in Amée marina. Technical services (diver, mechanical, welding, crane) are available. A river shuttle links the marina to the downtown every 30 minuts. The visit is limited to 15 days, for longer stay you would better choose Amée Marina. The casino (PK45,600, left bank) The docks opposite the Casino also depend on Hallet Marina. This locations are not secured but there are the nearest from the downtown. A dock, on left bank of the Sambre, near the confluent of the Meuse, gives a direct access to the shops but the berthing is limited to a few hours.
